Help Create Distraction-Free Learning Environments

Join us as we support the proposed policy to limit digital distractions in our classrooms. Limiting student cellphone use in schools will improve:

  1. Authentic Learning
  2. Human Connection
  3. Student Mental Health
🙌 I'm 100% behind NYSUT President Melinda Person on cellphone restrictions in schools. Every child deserves a classroom where they can focus and thrive — free from distractions.

📱 Phones in class are more than just distractions — they're holding kids back! Bell-to-bell restrictions will help students reconnect with other kids, enhance focus and achieve success in school. That's why I stand with NYSUT and Governor Kathy Hochul’s plan to limit phone use in schools. This proposal will help students focus, improve mental health and create better learning spaces.
